Number (N)ine revival

Cult, short-lived Japanese menswear label Number (N)ine has made a rare and exciting appearance at London concept and online store LN-CC, in the form of an archive sale. The collection is pretty extensive and can be bought on-line as well as in-store, featuring some of the most recognisable pieces from the past
I first came across the label a few years ago in Tokyo, and seeing the pieces up close confirmed the accolades bestowed on designer Tabahiro Miyashita by my menswear afficionado friends.

Shirts 'R' Us

If I were a guy I like to think that I would pull off something like these shirts from Sidian, Ersatz & Vanes, really nicely.
They are the perfect compromise between style and function, plus the photography from the look book is pretty sublime....

Me love you long time James Long!

The new James Long collection for SS11 absolutely kills it! I love everything in the collection, it is all so wearable but still holds his signature style, the prints are great too....check it out!

Colour Pop

The men's spring/ summer 2011 shows are over and on retrospect the Jil Sander show was a definite highlight, the neat tailoring and bright colour palette in acid brights are perfect. Contrast topline sunglasses are something I've been going on about for a while too, and these ultra-blue ones kill it.
