Last night I watched the 70s documentary, 'Grouipes', after much hype and anticipating mega outfit inspiration to be honest it wasn't all that great. The girls came off as CRAZY and the extended band performances were a bit surplus to requirements, but it sent me off on a google mission this morning, where I found some amazing images.
My favourite groupie in the film was Miss Harlow, pictured in the last 2 photos, her beyond backcombed hair, 20s ephemera and spaced out attitude were entrancing and intriguing.
If you haven't read it the Pamela De Barres autobiography 'I'm With The Band' is a great insight into the scene and the girls surrounding all those rock stars.
